This
is a family run B&B and is located in the small
village of Scurrival, near Eoligarry. This is the most North Westerly point of the island.
It is 25 mins drive from the ferry terminal in
Castlebay and 10 mins from the airport and Ardmhor ferry.
There is a connecting bus service to and from these
locations or we can arrange collection to and from the
ferry/airport. There
is car hire also available near by We
have 1 large family room, 1 double and 1 twin room.
All rooms have tea/coffee making facilities.
We also have a small TV lounge.
We can provide a hairdryer, iron, high chair and
travel cot on request.
We have off street parking and storage for
bicycles. Enjoy
a traditional Scottish breakfast, packed lunches and
evening meal can be provided by prior arrangement.
Sorry but we operate a non smoking policy and do
not accept pets.
All rooms have superb views of the beach, Eriskay and Uist. The huge secluded beach of Scurrival is just a short walk away. You can also fish from Eoligarry pier, paddle in the clear water for crabs or search the white sands for interesting shells and sea urchins. This location is ideal for hill walking, cycling, fishing, bird watching and has many rare wild flowers. The beautiful scenery and tranquil setting is very inspirational for artists. Near by is the small graveyard of Cille Bharra with its historic Viking stones. Visit the Barra golf club, just 15 mins away. Check out the Barra web page for recommendations of things to do and see.
