After an extensive renovation Heathbank Hotel reopened in July 2004.  The most outstanding alteration to the hotel was the insertion of windows in the bar where the walls are over 3 foot thick, but the transformation now allows you to sit with a coffee or dram and watch fishing boats arriving across the bay at Ardveenish pier, with their day's catch.

The hotel now has five comfortable en-suite bedrooms, a bright welcoming bar, a reception area and a dining room where breakfast and evening meals are served. Meals are also served in the bar where you can enjoy a sociable evening with the locals who will regale you with stories of the island.

Heathbank is owned and run by Joe and Kathleen Macleod who have been there for 25 years. They are assisted by a small friendly team who will help make your stay more comfortable.
