Welcome to Dunard Hostel. This small family run hostel is  warm and welcoming, and makes a lovely place to stay after a day of sea air  and salty winds. From here there are beautiful views over the bay towards the castle and islands beyond. We welcome individuals, families and organised groups. The hostel is open at all times and you are free to come and go as you please. 

How to find the hostel: We are just a three minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Head up the hill, turn left at the old school and we are the third house on the right. The hostel is situated in Castlebay, Isle of Barra's main village. It is a few minutes from the ferry terminal, handful of shops, tourist information, bank, post office, cafe and two hotel/pubs, which in summer fill with the sound of fiddles, accordions and bagpipes.

    -  Family  £44.00 per night

    -  Twin £32.00 per night

    -  To book the whole hostel £140.00 - £195.00 per night
