You may be able to get fresh produce from local crofters if you talk nicely to them. If you are lucky you may get fresh vegetables straight from the ground.

Divers

If you catch a diver coming into the shore or doing a landing you may be able to get a selection of the finest and freshest shellfish available.

Barratlantic Fish Factory

Established since 1974 Barratlantic are a Fish and shellfish processor and haulage company.  Products include whole prawns, scallops, velvet crab and all types of white fish. You can buy the fresh fish directly from the Factory – in Ardveenish, or at the local fish van that sells its goods in Castlebay Square every Thursday.
