FUTURE  DEVELOPMENTS 

Initially, the Centre will house all Pre-School groups including facilities for Parent and Toddlers, Creche facilities, After-School care, Saturday and Holiday playschemes and café.  An example of the daily time-table is

Over the next year, our main aim is to improve the service and facilities for children with disabilities and special needs.   The group aims to achieve this by : 

·         Providing a sensory garden area suitable for children with disabilities.  Funding has already been  applied for to achieve this.

·         Provide day-care for children with disabilities/special needs during the 6 week summer term.  This will be re-viewed subject to demand.  

The Centre has been designed through-out to allow for disabled access.   By improving  the uses of the Centre even further, will be of great benefit to the island as a whole. 

·         It will allow all the children to interact, providing them with both educational and recreational play.  We will also involve them with outdoor interests in a garden designed for them to learn and play.

·         It will support families and carers.

·         It will encourage families to the island for holidays  which will also have a positive impact on the economy such as tourism, local businesses and local organisations e.g. Feis

·          It will provide employment.
