The caravan has
scenic views of Castlebay bay, Kisimul Castle
and the
neighbouring island of Vatersay.
A cosy and comfortable caravan,
situated in Glen at the foot of Ben Heaval (the highest hill point on
Barra).
Location
We are a ten-minute walk from the ferry
terminal, and five-minutes from tourist information office, the main bus
service point (the bus route round the island also passes the caravan),
café, local shops and cycle hire centre.
Accommodation
The caravan sleeps 4 comfortably. It has two bedrooms; one
double-bedded room with fitted wardrobes, hair-dryer, mirror and
shelf. The second bedroom has
bunk beds and fitted wardrobe.
Bed linen is provided (Towels are not
provided).
Facilities
The caravan is fully equipped including
toaster, microwave, full-sized gas cooker, fridge with freezer
compartment, iron and ironing board.
The lounge/dining area has a coloured
television and video recorder; a
video of Barra and a selection of PG, 12 and 15 certificate videos
are provided. There is a CD
radio cassette player and appropriate reading material on Barra and
Vatersay.
The caravan has a WC with electric
shower.
We also have some indoor and outdoor
family games and a child’s high chair is available on request.
Garden furniture is provided in the
summer months.
No pets.
£1 coin meter for
electricity.
